The concept of ‘My Eton Days’ subscriptions is that you subscribe to 3 photo shoots per year (1 per term). Each photoshoot is about 30 minutes to an hour long and can vary from a formal shoot around and about the college grounds, to a house match, to a fun reportage style shoot of him with a group of friends, during a play or concert that he is in and so on.
The cost of the subscription is £295 per year. At the end of each shoot you will be able to choose Two FREE 5×7 prints. As a subscriber you will also be able to enjoy exclusive promotions. You might also want to benefit from any additional shoots offered with a 50% discount. You are free to renew or cancel your subscription at the beginning of each new academic year. Prices may vary slightly from year to year but we will always try to remain good value.

Our portraits are a far cry from the traditional school portraits. We make maximum use of the environment to create photos that tell a story. Framed within an archway, or positioned with the school crest on the Chapel walls in the distant background, we make sure that each photo speaks for itself.
Shot mainly within the College grounds, and using top of the range professional equipment, our natural approach to portrait photography is both fun and refreshing, resulting in beautifully crafted images that capture your son’s personality perfectly.
We offer a fantastic range of both traditional and contemporary frames as well as beautiful desktop frames, wall displays including triptychs, floating frames, block mounts and canvasses. We also offer you the ability to purchase a DVD of all the photos, as well as individual prints if you prefer to frame them at home.

The “half” leavers portrait that we offer is essentially the same as a leavers portraits – just half the time, photos and price. This photo shoot is in one location which is either around Luxmoore Gardens or in School Yard. You will be shown the best photos from the shoot in both colour and black and white in an online password protected album. There will also be a 25% discount applied to any products purchased within 14 days of the photos going online.
The cut out shoot is designed specifically to provide you with the end result of a cut out. The shoot is taken in School Yard and will take around 10 minutes. We take around 5 different photographs for the sole purpose of creating a cut out for you. The sitting fee is £30 and cut outs start at £59.99 for a small (inclusive of your 14 day 25% discount) and £79.99 for a large (inclusive of your 14 day 25% discount).
Frequently Asked Questions
Q – How long do I have to commit for ?
A – “My Eton Days” subscriptions are renewed at the beginning of each academic year. You only commit to one year at a time (that’s 3 photoshoots) and can take the option of not renewing at the end of each academic year.
Q – Do I have to buy any prints or files during the subscription ?
A – No; There is no requirement at all for you to purchase anything during the course of your subscription. However we do have all manner of prints, framed photos, photo books, acrylic wall frames, cut outs and so on, during your subscription. Please also note that the cost of your subscription does not include the cost of a final photobook as these are all priced invividually, based on the number of pages and size of the books themselves. Q – Do you literally follow my son around the college grounds – he would find this embarrasing!
A- Absolutely not ! The last thing we want is to embarrass your son, with a lens fixed on him all the time, so all our shoots are arranged at discrete times, when other students aren’t around. They are all pre-arranged with your son at a time that’s convenient for him and are for a maximum of one hour at a time ( & often less).
Q – Will it interfere with his studies ?
A – Not at all – We have a very flexible agenda and are able to fit shoots in at most times of the day. Furthermore, some shoots, such as a football or rugby match, don’t even involve any extra time from him as we’ll just be on the touchline while he’s playing. Although we allow an hour for each shoot, most actually just take between 15 and 45 minutes (Housemasters and dames for example wouldn’t want to have a shoot with them that takes longer than 15 minutes or so).
Q – Do I need to organise all the shoots for him?
A – We do all the organisation for you. We would normally E-mail your son directly, cc’ing in the Dame and yourself, so that everyone is kept informed every step of the way.
